«Tank empty»
The water quantity is easy to see through the transparent
water tank window. The display on the appliance also
shows when the unit should be refilled with water. If the
water level falls below the minimum quantity, the appliance
automatically switches off. A red symbol (L) appears on the
display. When water is added, symbol L goes out and the
appliance continues operating.
M) Cleaning the appliance
The letter M in the display indicates that the appliance must
be cleaned. This symbol comes on automatically every 2
weeks, depending on the level of use. The display can be
cancelled by depressing button A for 5 seconds.

Cleaning the air washer (16 – 20)
Before the base can be removed from the ap-
pliance, the water tank must be removed. To do
this, remove the cover above the water tank,
remove the water tank from the appliance and
then pull out the base (20).
• Regular cleaning is a requirement for hygienic,
trouble-free operation.
• Recommended cleaning intervals depend on air
and water quality as well as operating time.
• The air washer can easily be taken apart for
cleaning without tools.
The air washer must be emptied completely and cleaned
if the unit filled with water has not been in operation for
longer than a week.
Remove the ISS from the bottom base before cleaning (20).
Only use CalcOff for decalcification and cleaning of the pro-
duct. Damage that is caused by the use of other cleaning
agents is not covered by the warranty.
Cleaning the water tank and bottom base –
every 2 weeks (21– 24)
• Remove deposits from the bottom base with a plastic
or wooden brush and a diluted commercial dish deter-
gent.
• Put the air washer back together after cleaning in the
opposite order.
Cleaning the evaporator discs (CalcOff) –
every 4 weeks (25 – 31)
Pour the decalcification agent into the bottom base filled
with water and allow it to soak; turn the disc package
several times by hand. Empty the bottom base and rinse it
together with the disc package.
Note: A thin layer of calcification on the discs increases the
output of the evaporator!
Do not clean the soiled disc package in the dish-
washer!
Put the disc package and the air washer back together after
cleaning in the opposite order.
Cleaning the air inlet filter – every 4 weeks
(32)
Remove the air inlet filter from the side of the appliance
and clean it with a vacuum cleaner. Do not clean the filter in
water! Then reinsert the filter into the appliance.
