11) After the installation of the panic locking element:
Inspection and mechanic actuation of the panic locking system to ensure that all
parts of the system are in a satisfactory operating condition. Use a force meter to
measure the force you need to open the escape door and write down the value you
have measured.
12) A panic locking system must be constructed in such a way that the door can swing
out without any problems towards the escape direction after being released.
13) Panic locking systems produced according to this standard are constructed for
the installation at door sashes which are not heavier than 200 kg, not higher than
2500 mm and not wider than 1300 mm, overlap included.
14) Glass doors which are to be equipped with a panic locking system should be provi-
ded with security glass.
15) Different fixings may be required for installing the panic locking system on to wood,
metal or all-glass doors.
16) (Outer) actuation units must not prevent the panic locking system to be operated
from the inside, neither with the door locked or unlocked (e.g. a key must not be
inserted in the profile cylinder).
NOTE!
A key (or a bunch of keys) must not be inserted in the profile cylinder!
