7.4.2 Operating the 6-key hand switch

•
With the left hand UP / DOWN keys, the drive connected to slot 1 is moved.
•
With the right hand UP / DOWN keys, the drive connected to slot 3 is moved.
•
With the centre UP / DOWN keys, both drives are moved at the same time but not synchro-
nously.
The drive stops moving if the key is released or a limit switch
is activated..
When the key is released, the motor is short-circuited and
stops quickly.
When the end position is reached, drives with 8-pin connec-
tors are braked by shorting the motor, drives with 2-pin con-
nectors are not actively braked.
