2.1.2 Drilling the end anchoring

- - When using ordinary anchors: Using the 7 mm drill bit, drill the deck while
sloping the drill 45° towards the outer edge and drill to a depth of at least
10 cm.

- - For anchor-inserts: using the 10 mm drill bit, drill the deck while keeping the
drill perpendicular to the ground and drill to a depth of at least 10 cm.

- - For wood anchors: using the 12 mm wood drill bit, drill the deck while
keeping the drill perpendicular to the ground and drill to a depth of at least
2.7 cm and fix the anchor using the 3 screws provided.

- - Drill the deck in the cover corners (along the drill line) starting on the storage
side. 8 drill holes are needed.
- - Install the anchors.

2.1.3 Positioning the cover

- - Carry the cover next to the pool and unroll on one width so that when
unrolled, the label is on the top of the cover.
- - Pass the straps on 2 corners into the stainless steel springs on one end of the
mesh and fix them onto the anchors.

- - Fit the springs onto the straps on the other 2 corners, pick them up, stretch
the cover over the pool and fix them to the anchors).

2.1.4 Drilling all the anchorage
- - Make sure the cover is properly positioned and drill all the required holes
opposite each strap (along the drilling line).
- - Fit the springs and stretch them over the anchors (see § 2.1.3).

- - Pull the straps to stretch each spring (see diagram below), so that the cover
is sufficiently stretched and safety provided.

2.2 Installing a special shape cover

Carry the cover next to the pool and unroll on one width so that when
unrolled, the label is on the top of the cover.

2.2.1 Positioning the cover
Your cover is the same shape as your pool.
- - Unroll the cover over the pool and centre it so that the overlaps are even.
- - Keep the cover in place using weights. Check that the cover covers the entire
pool and is perfectly centred.
