General information
All whirltubs produced by Hoesch are delivered on a self-supporting frame with adjusted height. The system components
(whirl pump, control unit and blower) are located in places shown in the annexed dimensioned diagram.
What you should pay attention to:
■
Check whether the delivery is complete and undamaged.
■
We will not be liable for damages that occur during transport and storage.
■
Do not put the bathtub on previously installed pipe system! Avoid any impacts!
■
During the installation cover the bathtub surface and any system elements that stick out, which will protect them
against damages and excessive dirt.
■
Individual elements of the system must remain accessible for later maintenance works!
02
Mounting/Installation
The bathtub installation should be done according to the attached instruction.
02.01 Water supply installation
The water and drain system should be made in compliance with the binding regulations.
GB
02.02 Electrical installation
The Hoesch whirl tubs are designed for home usage (including hotels, workers' hostels, student hostels, etc.) and meet
the requirements included in relevant EN-VDE norms. An exception is using them for medical purposes.
⚠
Notice:
All electrical works should be done by the authorized electrician in accordance with the applicable
standard DIN/EN (DIN VDE 0100-701, etc.), typical country norms and the local energy law!
■
The whirl system is designed to operate with the alternating voltage of 230 V~AC, 50/60 Hz, 2kW.
■
The electrical power of the whirl system should be carried from a separate electric circuit and properly protected
with a 10 A fuze, in compliance with the rated power consumption, according to the rating plate. Other users
cannot be connected.
■
Moreover, install a separate device with a current trip device for the measured differential current ≤ 30 mA for
the whirl tub. The FI B type protecting switch (RCCB) earlier connected separately must meet the requirements
of the DIN EN/VDE norm. The usage of connected switches FI/LS (RCBO) with in-built over-current protection
is preferred. Check the efficiencccy and effectiveness of the current trip device (DCD) on a regular basis.
■
In the installation placed permanently you should allow for a master switch with a minimum distance between
the contacts of 3 mm, which will be used for general switching off of whirl system and disconnecting it from the
power supply system. Draw the user's attention to a separate possibility of switching off. It is recommended that
in situations when whirl tub is not used for a longer time the whirl installation should be switched off from the
power supply system with the use of the master switch/FI.
■
Terminal made by the construction team should be in a form of a permanent distributive damp-resistant socket
(IP 65, at least 30 cm over the floor, in the area under the bathtub).
■
The main compensatory rail (or the secondary compensatory rail) made by the construction team should be
connected to the grounding clamp on the frame of the bath. To complete this connection, you need the green
and yellow 4mm
