3) USING YOUR MACHINE
a)
Putting into Service
Plug in the power supply lead.
Press the Start/Stop button. The indicator light comes on.
The machine begins to heat immediately. Leave it to pre-heat for about 10 minutes. The
grill and the lower part of the machine heat simultaneously.
Fill the pans with raclette cheese and/or other ingredients such as bacon pieces or onions.
The cheese must not be too thick so as not to come into contact with the resistances
of the machine.
Place the pans in the machine making sure they are positioned in the spaces provided for
them.
Remove the pans for tasting when the cheese has melted and is slightly browned.
Use spatulas to remove the food from the pans.
To use the grill just place the ingredients on it. You can then remove the food once the
desired cooking level is reached.
b) End of Cooking
Once the cooking has finished press the Start/Stop button. The indicator light goes out.
Plug in the power supply lead.
Wait until the machine has cooled completely before cleaning or storing it.
4) LOOKING AFTER AND CLEANING YOUR MACHINE
Unplug the machine from the electric socket before cleaning.
Wait until the machine has cooled completely before cleaning.
Remove the grill plate by lifting it upwards. The plate is dishwasher-proof but you can also
wash it with a non-abrasive sponge, hot water and washing-up liquid. The same for the
raclette pans.
Clean the base of the machine with a slightly damp cloth. Never immerse this part of the
machine in water or any other liquid to avoid the risk of an electric shock.
