9 Maintenance and cleaning
NOTICE
• Set the contact pressure in a way that the wire is not deformed and runs smoothly.
4 Adjusting the contact pressure. Adjust contact pressure once via the pressure lever (18).
The dial scale 1-5 serves for orientation.
5 Close the cover (8).
9.1.1 Pressure rolls
1 Unscrew the screws (17) and remove the protective plate (16).
2 Remove the complete pressure rockers (7).
3 Loosen screw (1) and take out full-floating axles (5) pushing them toward the rear.
4 Remove drive gears (6) and pressure rolls (4). Check the drive gears (6) for wear and replace them
always in pairs.
The drive gears (6) must be exchanged every year.

5 Remove washers (3), check pressure rolls (4) for wear, replace them in pairs, if necessary, and mount
the components again.
6 Mount the complete pressure rockers (7) again.
Pay attention to the forced positioning of pressure spring (1) and ridge (2):

7 Mount the protective plate (16) and secure it with screws (17).
