Carefully unpack the coffee maker and remove all packaging materials. You may wipe
the coffee maker body with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse the coffee maker
body, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
To remove any dust that may have accumulated on the removable parts during pack-
aging, wash the carafe, lid, filter basket, and permanent nylon filter with warm, soapy
water. Rinse and dry. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleansers.
