3.3- About the cable
- Before starting, make sure that the steel cable is correctly wound around the drum and the pitch is
equal to the cable diameter.
- Make sure the cable is in good condition and is attached properly.
- Do not use the winch if the cable is worn, frayed.
- Do not move the vehicle to pull a load.
- Please check and respect the maximum load listed on the label of the winch, neglecting the capacity
marked on the hook.
- If the steel cable is worn out, it must be replaced with an original or same specifications' cable, by
an authorized service centre. Do not replace the cable with a cable of lesser strength
3.4- About safety
- Keep away from the cable pulling line. If the cable should slip or break, it would "whiplash" along
this line.
- Keep hands, clothing, hair and jewelry clear of the winch when in use
- Ask another person to help you make sure the winch is operating safely. Make sure this person is at
a distance from the vehicle and the cable before starting the winch.
3.5- About the limits
- Never exceed the pulling limits of the winch.
IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Mounting the winch
The winch can be mounted using the base (Fig.1 part 6).
Put the ratchet switch on the middle position and pull out the cable, until the holes on the bottom of
the base (6) are visible.
Place the winch base on a firm and flat surface. Then use at least 3 sets of 3/8" bolts and locking nuts
(not provided), in a triangle pattern, to fix the base on the mounting surface.
Use extra metal or hardwood board when necessary.
4.2- Ratchet Switch (Fig.1 part 7)
The ratchet switch (7) has 3 positions:
- Higher position:
- Middle position:
- Lower position:
For T12
Place ratchet switch on this position
for releasing (unwinding) the cable.

there is no load on the cable)
Place ratchet switch on this position
for pulling (rewinding) the cable.
For T25 (in axis 1+2)
Place ratchet switch on this position for
pulling (rewinding) the cable.

there is no load on the cable)
Place ratchet switch on this position for
releasing (unwinding) the cable.
