Attention
► Switch the device off prior to cleaning it and unplug the plug from the wall power outlet.
► Do not use any aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
► Do not scrape off stubborn dirt with hard items.
► Do not immerse pot, base or power cord in water.
16.6 Cleaning
Pot
• Rinse the pot with a damp cloth.
Mesh
• The mesh is located it the sprout of the pot. Pull it up and wash it under running water.
Then place the mesh back correctly.
Base
• The stainless steel surface of the base can be cleaned with a commercial stainless steel
cleaning agent.
Buttons
• Clean the buttons with a damp cloth. Do not use cleaning agents.
16.7 Descaling
• Depending on the hardness of water you should descale the device once every two
weeks.
• Fill the pot with water and a commercial descaler or give a sip of vinegar into the water.
Heat the mixture to 70 °C but do not boil it to prevent overcooking. Rinse the pot with
fresh water after descaling.

► Regularly decalcifying your WK2200 will reduce the electricity used and prolong the life
of the device.
