Troubleshooting
If any faults should occur during use, please check the following:
Symbol on the display
The display is blank when you
press the ON/OFF button
The EE symbol is displayed or
the pressure value seems to be
too low/high
The symbol E1 is displayed
The symbol E2 is displayed
The symbol E3 is displayed
Warning:
1. the unit contains high-precision components. Therefore avoid extreme temperatures, humidity and direct
sunlight. Avoid dropping or vigorously shaking the main unit and protect it from dust.
2. clean the monitor body and cuff carefully with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not press. Do not fold the
pre-shaped cuff and do not wash with chemical detergents or use thinners, medical alcohol or petrol
as cleaning fl uids.
3. remove the batteries if the unit is not used for long periods.
4. do not press the ON/OFF button unless the monitor is on the wrist.
5. do not let children use the monitor.
6. do not disassemble the unit or cuff.
7. if the unit is stored at temperatures near freezing point, allow it to acclimatize at room temperature
before use.
8. do not under any circumstances attempt to repair the device by yourself if it does not work. Do not try to
open or disassemble the unit, or adjust anything inside it. Contact a qualifi ed technician.

Likely cause
Low batteries
Batteries have not been
inserted the right way round
Cuff fi tted and/or positioned
incorrectly
The user talked or moved while
taking the measurement
The user moved his/her wrist
during the measurement.
Problem with the air circuit
Pressure above 300 mmHg
Data error

Remedy
Replace with 2 new alkaline
batteries.
Put the batteries back in, the
right way round.
Put the cuff back on properly
Measure blood pressure again,
without moving.
Repeat the measurement
Turn off the monitor, turn
it back on and repeat the
measurement
Remove the batteries, put
them back in and repeat the
measurement
