- At this point, the new SSID is sent to the network fans and stored in the Wi-Fi card memories of all of them.
- Wait approximately 5 minutes, then disconnect power to the control unit and to all fans.
- Re-connect power. A network will be created with the new SSID. If the number of nodes displayed matches the
number of fans on the network, the configuration is successful.
Changing the password:
- Press the CONFIG button.
- Using the arrow buttons, view the item "CHANGE PASSWORD". Press the OK button.
- Enter the desired password (UP/DOWN edits the character, RIGHT/LEFT moves by one character). The num-
ber of characters allowed is between 8 and 12. Press the OK button.
- At this point, the new password is sent to the network fans and stored in the Wi-Fi card memories of all of them.
- Wait approximately 5 minutes, then disconnect power to the control unit and to all fans.
- Re-connect power. A network will be created with the new password. If the number of nodes displayed matches
the number of fans on the network, the configuration is successful.
Adding new nodes to the network:
If you wish to add one or more fans (which therefore have the default SSID and password) to an existing network,
proceed as follows:
- Press the CONFIG button.
- Using the arrow buttons, view the item "ADD NEW FAN". Press the OK button.
- The display will show the message ARE YOU SURE? Select YES and press OK.
- A reset command is sent to the entire network to restore the default SSID and password on all the fans.
- Wait approximately 5 minutes, then switch off the control unit and all fans.
- Re-connect power. A network will be created with the default SSID and password.
- Edit the SSID as previously described under "Changing the SSID".
- Edit the password as previously described under "Changing the password".
Use
Note
In general, in the absence of user input, after 30 seconds the display will return to the main screen without saving
any changes. The display backlighting will turn off after 40 seconds (you can always keep the backlight on, see
below "Configuration menu - LCD BACKLIGHT" for details). Press any button to reactivate the display.
When switched on, the display shows:
- the speed set, from 0% (off) to 100% (maximum
speed)
- the direction of rotation VENT (air directed
downwards) or REV (air directed upwards)
- the operating mode (see below: "Changing
operating parameters - mode" for details):
WINTER AUTO (automatic winter mode)
WINTER MAN (manual winter mode)
SUMMER (summer mode)
- the number of fans connected to the network
