IGNITION MANUAL MODEL
1. Switch the cylinder on (see fig. A).
2. Start the fan by means of the white key switch (see fig. B).
3. Press the gas button and, keeping it pressed, repeatedly press the electric piezoelectric lighter until lame is
visible (see fig. C).
IGNITION AUTOMATIC MODEL (with pilot light)
1. Plug in the room thermostat of the apparatus (fig B pos. 2) and set the temperature at minimum
2. Keep the gas button pressed down for 15-20 sec. to allow the pilot light to come on.
3. When the room thermostat is set at the desired temperature the burner ignites or goes out to maintain the temperature set.
IGNITION ELECTRONIC MODEL
1. Plug in the room thermostat (fig B pos. 2)
2. Switch on the equipment.
3. When the room thermostat is set at the desired temperature the burner ignites or goes out to maintain the temperature set.
4. Should the fan stop due to a possible power cut, safety device will automatically switch the generator off in a few seconds.
5. The same applies in the event of gas interruptions. In both cases follow the same procedure as before to re-ignite.
6. Avoid numerous attempts to ignite the device within a short period: if it does not ignite immediately, proceed with a
troubleshooting.
Note. The room thermostat must be located away from the hot air outlet .
If you have to move the equipment, first unplug the thermostat and then the electric power.
Note: Thermal power can be adjusted between max. and min. values by means of an handwheel ( 1 ) which is
on the generator panel (for the ADJUSTABLE model only)
STOPPING
• Switch the cylinder off.
• Leave fan running for a few seconds so that cooling off may occur
• Turn off the fan by acting on the white key-switch.
• Put such a device into a dry and dust free place.
• Always switch the cylinder off when the device is not working.
WARNING: The mobile generator must only be used on fire-resistant floors. – Safety distance: 2 metres from walls or other
objects. – The generator must not be used in rooms containing explosive powders, gas fumes, flammable sostances and
materials. – The burner must be regularly cleaned if used in dusty environments.-All service operations must be carried out
by duly authorized staff only.
USE IN ENVIRONMENTS WITH NO PERMANENT PRESENCE OF PEOPLE
• Warning posters must be displayed prohibiting people from being permanently in that room.
• The generators must only be used for rooms drying purposes only, provided that there is a guaranteed quantity of air
exchange necessary for combustion.
• The necessary quantity of air will be reached when the volume of the room (in m
power (in kW) of all hot air generators used in that room.
• Normal air circulation through doors and windows must be ensured.
