Verify alignment
To verify the alignment of the machinery, it is recommended to execute
the measuring procedure once again. To do so, go back by using the
previous button until you reach the first measuring step (9 o'clock
position) and continue as per chapter 3.7.
3.10
Storing and/or printing of the measurement
The whole chapter 3.10 applies to TMEA 1P/2.5 and TMEA 1PEx
systems only.
Warning:
The printer is not intrinsically safe and should not be brought into the
intrinsic safety zone.
In order to be able to formally document the alignment data, the
TMEA 1PEx is provided with a printer. The TMEA P1 printer is available
as optional equipment for the TMEA 1P/2.5. The alignment report can
either be printed directly (see chapter 3.10.2) or the alignment data can
first be stored and printed later on (see chapter 3.10.1).
3.10.1 Storing of the measurement data
Ensure the printer is not connected.
Storing of the coupling and feet values before alignment:
Once the measurement is completed, press the print button.
Press the print button.
Storing of the coupling and feet values after alignment:
After alignment re-measure as per chapter 3.7 to 3.8 (9, 3, 12 and then
back to the 3 o'clock position) and press the print button.
Press the print button.
'S done' on the display confirms
the coupling and feet values have
been stored. All data including
machinery dimensions and
results are saved until a new
measurement is done.
Measurement data will be saved
even when the display unit is
turned off.
