■ Repeat the steps to light other control
knobs. (Fig. 18, 19)
NOTE: If igniter fails to light stove oven,
use match to light burner. If the stove
oven is wet the igniter may not spark. If
the oven burner goes out suddenly, open
the oven door and leave about 5 minutes
before lighting again.
■ If the igniter does not spark, open the
battery cover near regulator and try to
change a new battery. (Fig. 20)
■ Install battery in the correct orientation
as shown on the battery cover.

■ Adjust flame with control knob.

a hint of yellow on tips.

■ Open the oven door to view the burner
flame below the heat diffuser. Adjust

Standard Ignition Stove oven
CAUTION
Use a LONG wooden match or a
match extension.
■ Set on sturdy, flat surface. For outdoor
use only.
■ Hold lighted match near burner,
push control knob and turn in
counterclockwise direction open
burner valve. (Fig. 25, 26, 27)

To Bake
■ Use household baking dishes that
withstand normal oven temperatures.
■ The cooking temperature is not
automatically regulated.
■ Use the thermometer as a guide and
manually adjust the temperature with
the control knob.
■ Continuously monitor the baking

process while using the oven. Adjust
the temperature and rotate the baking
dish as necessary.
■ Follow the recommended food
preparation instructions on food
packages.
■ Cooking times may vary depending on
weather conditions and altitude.
To Toast
■ Turn oven fully on.
■ All rack positions may be used for

toasting. Experience shows the upper
levels tend to reduce time required
and minimize the need for flipping
the food.
To Turn Off
■ Turn control knobs in clockwise
direction to switch three burners off.
