they are properly supervised by a qualifi ed person who is
responsible for their safety. Children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not expose yourself unnecessarily to
excessive microwave radiation
1. Do not attempt to put the microwave oven into operation
if the oven's door is open. This could expose you to harmful
microwave radiation. Do not try to tamper with or hold back
safety locks on the oven's door.
2. Do not place any foreign objects between the door of the
oven. Ensure that dirt and remains of cleaning agents do not
accumulate on the seal on the door and sealing surfaces.
3. Do not attempt to put the oven into operation if it is damaged.
It is important that the oven's door fi ts tightly and is not
damaged after being closed.
Examples of dangerous damage to the door:
a) Dent in the oven's door.
b) Loosened or broken attachment HINGES or door LOCKS.
c) Door seals or seal surfaces on the front of the oven's
frame.
The microwave oven may only be repaired or adjusted
by a qualifi ed person.
4. As with most appliances intended for cooking, strict
supervision is necessary to prevent the risk of fi re inside the
oven.
In case of fi re:
1. Do not open the door of the oven.
2. Turn off the oven and remove the plug from the power socket.
3. Turn off the main electric power distribution switch.
CLEANING
Make sure that you have disconnected the
oven from the power source by pulling the
plug out of the power socket.
1. Use a damp cloth and clean the inside of
the oven.
2. Clean the accessories in the usual way in
soapy water.
Materials which you may use in a microwave oven
Dishes
Notes
Aluminium foil
Only to cover small parts of the foods. Covering of small parts of meat or poultry with the foil you will
prevent the over cooking or burning of small parts of the food. The foil must be at a distance of at least
2.5 cm from the inside area of the oven (if it is too close, then the foil may be bent).
Baking trays
Follow the instructions of the manufacturer. The bottom of the baking container must be at least 5 mm
above the turning plate. Incorrect handling may lead to the breakage of the turning plate.
Plates
Use only plates and dishes designed for use in microwave ovens. Follow the instructions of the
manufacturer. Do not use cracked or otherwise damaged bowls.
Glasses and jugs
Only heat up the food. Do not cook it! The majority of glass jugs and glasses are not resistant to high
temperatures and breakage may occur.
Glass baking trays
Use only glass baking trays resistant to high temperatures.
Check that the bowl does not have a metal rim or another metal accessory. Do not use cracked or otherwise
damaged bowls.
3. The dirty door frame, seal and nearby parts must be carefully
cleaned using a damp cloth dipped in a detergent solution
and then wiped dry. The oven must be earthed. The power
plug must be connected only to a power socket, which has
been earthed.
If you have any doubts about the correctness of the electrical
installation or malfunction of the oven contact a qualifi ed
electrician or a service technician.
1. The microwave oven is equipped with a short power cord to
reduce the risk of injury by tripping or entanglement.
2. A long extension cord must meet the following requirements:
a) In regards to the permitted electrical load, the nominal
values of the extension cord and the socket must conform
to the nominal values of the microwave oven.
b) The extension cord must be a triple-core cable and both
the plug and the socket must have an earth pin.
c) The cord must be well hidden so that it doesn't
unnecessarily hang over the kitchen bench top, so that it
is not tripped over or that it is not pulled out by children.
EQUIPMENT AND DISHES
CAUTION:
Danger of injury
Tightly closed containers may explode during cooking. Closed
containers must be opened before cooking and plastic wraps
must be pierced, see Materials that may not be used for cooking
in a microwave oven. There are some non-metallic materials that
may not be safely used during cooking in a microwave oven. If you
are unsure if it is possible to use a material during cooking in a
microwave oven, do the following:
Test of kitchen dishes:
1. Fill the container intended for cooking in the microwave oven
with cold water (250 ml).
2. Boil for a time of 1 minute at the maximum power output of
the oven.
3. Carefully check the temperature of the tested container. If
the tested container is warm, do not use it for cooking in the
microwave oven.
4. Do not cook longer than 1 minute.
