ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

• Before connecting the appliance make sure that the voltage and frequency rated on the data plate
conform to those of the mains supply.
WARNING! An omnipolar trip switch with a least 3mm between the contacts must be installed
between the unit and the mains supply.
• Connect the control and security device wires.
• Connect the power supply cable to the device.
• Do not use cables with aluminium conductors; do not solder the ends of cables which are to
be inserted into the binding posts; use cables which are marked T min 85°C and are resistent
to atmospheric agents.
• The terminal wires must be positioned in such a way that both the wire and the insulating sheath are
tightly fastened (plastic binding is suffi cient). Where possible use the supplied cable clamp.

10-11
Flashing warning lights 24V ac 10W output
12-13
24V ac 5W output, powering external devices (Photoelectric cells, etc.)
14
FTC_I (contact NC) inverting photocells during closing
15
FTC_S (contact NC) stop photocells
16
TD (contact NO) dynamic button "Open-Close"
17-20-23-24 Common for all inputs and outputs (negative)
18
FCA opening travel limit input (contact NC)
19
FCC closing travel limit input (contact NC)
21-22
BSP Passive safety input (NC)
If this contact is open the power supply to the controls (including the electronic card) will
be interrupted. Insert a normally closed contact which is able to support a load of 30V dc
100mA. This safety device should be installed in addition to the normal active safety
devices (Caution! This input cannot be connected in series with the FTC_I and FTC_S as
they do not share the same common). It could also be wired in series to an emergency
device in line with the local standards and regulations in force.
25
TB (contact NC) blocking button in input
26
TC (contact NO) closing button in input
27
TA (contact NO) opening button in input
28
Mass for radio receiver antenna
29
Radio receiver antenna pole (The antenna must be connected using a coaxial cable
with an impedance of 50Ω)
MRS optional interface card connections
30-31
Relay contact completely closed indicator light
32-33
Relay contact completely open indicator light
34-35-36
Serial exchange relay contact for FTC_I and FTC_S photocell status
N.B.: ALL UNUSED NC CONTACTS MUST BE JUMPED
Switch on the power and make sure that the red indicator LEDS are in the following condition:
- LD1
Red power on LED
- L2
Red LED for the time programming button
- LD3
Red security LED for the blocking button "TB"
- LD4
Red security LED for the inverting photoelectric cells "FTC_I"
- LD5
Red security LED for the stop photoelectric cells "FTC_I"
Check that the activation of the safety devices (those that have not been bridged) switch the
corresponding LEDS off.
If the red power on LED "L1" doesn't light up check the condition of the fuses and the power cable
connection between binding posts "4" and "5" (fi g.1).
If one or more of the safety LEDS do not light up, check the contacts of the relative security devices
and check that the unused safety device contacts have been bridged.
