It is recommended to select stage 1 on the rotary switch first. This is the setting with the
lowest oil application. The oil quantity on the chain must be checked after 5 KM at the
latest in order to prevent a malfunction and the associated very high oil application. The
entire system should also be subjected to a further visual inspection in order to detect
any errors during assembly.
After 50 KM the oil quantity can be increased step by step at the rotary switch. Changes
need about 200 KM before they become visible. This procedure can be used to avoid soi-
ling the vehicle. In case of very heavy oil application, oil can get onto the rear wheel rim
or tyre. The dosing setting on the rotary switch must be reduced immediately. A slight
wetting of the chain with an even lubricating film should be ensured.
The driver is responsible for adjusting and checking the oil quantity. No liability is accep-
ted for damage caused by too little or too much oil.

The chain oil can be refilled quickly and easily. The supplied syringe can be attached di-
rectly to the oil bottle opening. The cap on the filler neck must be removed by pressing
on the locking edge. The syringe is used to press the oil into the system (hold the filler
neck firmly). Venting of the tank is automatic. This process must be repeated until the
tank is full. The tank should not be overfilled, otherwise oil can escape from the venting
opening.

At the beginning, the chain should occasionally be visually inspected to ensure the
correct basic setting.
The level of the oil tank should be checked and refilled after approx. 2500 KM depen-
ding on the application (long distance tank approx. 5000 KM). This prevents the system
from running dry.
