WATER TANK CLEANING

Avoid leaving water in the tanks and replace it every day. Wash daily with only warm water.
Replace the tank if it is too encrusted.

EXTERNAL CASE and CUP RACK

They should be cleaned using a cloth soaked into specific neutral detergent and warm water.

STEAM ARM and EXIT HOLES:

Always keep the steam arm clean from milk deposits both externally and inside the exit holes:
after each use clean accurately the steam arm with a soft cloth moistened before, avoiding to touch
it with the finger, letting a little steam out allows to remove the milk deposits on the holes.
WARNING: never use solvents, abrasive powders or steel wool. Never wash the water tank or the
drip tray in the dishwasher

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF WATER SOFTENER

BOILER WATER SOFTENER

In order to guarantee an effective functioning of the boiler and to avoid limescale deposits, it is
fundamental to regularly replace the Water Softener.
The water softener that is in the water tank on the right must be replaced periodically, according to
the French degrees and the water used, as shown in the table below:

The Water Softener is located inside the water reservoir, attached to the end of the water suction
pipe.
If the Water Softener is not replaced following the above-mentioned instructions and the steam
flow gets blocked, it is recommended to contact our customer service centres.

WATER SOFTENER (power supply connection version)

Machines pre-set for water connection should be equipped with external decalcifying devices
(such as ionic exchange resins, reverse osmosis systems).
Routine maintenance and operating instructions are described in the manuals usually provided
with these water softeners.
