descrIPtIon of the unIt

The Smartmix X2 vacuum mixer is for mixing all
types of plaster, investment material and silicone
paste. This unit is constructed robustly. A twin-
chamber vacuum pump creates a high vacuum
in a very short time. As the v acuum sucks the
mixing beaker onto the unit, no additional c atches
are required.
The multifunctional turning and pushing knob
allows to operate and to program the Smartmix X2
very easily. The Smartmix X2 includes a high
quality electronic control system which can be
used to store up to 20 mixing p rogrammes.
Each mixing programme includes the f ollowing
settings:
1. mixing time
Stirring time is adjustable from 10 sec to 5 min.
2. speed (150 - 550 r.p.m.)
The speed can be set in stages of 10 from
150 - 550 r.p.m.

3. Premixing
The premixing stage can be switched on or off.
When switched on, an interval of 5 - 20 seconds
(in stages of 5) can be programmed. To avoid
stirring up the powder, use a lower speed for pre-
mixing. When the pre-mixing function is activated
(time >= 5 sec), a pre-mixing speed from
150 - 250 min -1 can be selected. If the premixing
stage is activated, no hand mixing is required.
4. Prevacuum
This stage can also be switched on or off. When it is
s witched on, a constant vacuum is created in the
mixing vessel without actually mixing. The intervals
can be set between 5 and 60 seconds
(progressively).
5. Interval time
The interval time denotes after how many seconds
the direction of rotation of the mixing blade should
be r eversed. The shortest selectable interval time
amounts to five seconds. Below five seconds,
changing of the rotational direction is disabled.
6. re-evacuation
Shiftable function. After the end of the stirring
process, the mixture may rest under vacuum and
be degassed. The time interval for re-evacuation
can be selected from 5 - 30 seconds. Only after
the end of the re-evacuation time a signal will
sound to indicate completion of the mixing process.

The name can have up to 12 characters.
