When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. R E A D A L L I N S T R U C T I O N S .
2. To protect against risk of electrical hazards, do not immerse the Waring Commercial
Ice Crusher in water or other liquids.
3. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling, and
b e f o re cleaning.
4. Avoid contacting moving parts. Never place fingers or other utensils into feed or
d i s c h a rge are a s .
5. Do not operate the Waring Commercial Ice Crusher or any electrical equipment with
a damaged cord or plug, or after the unit malfunctions, is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Return it to the nearest authorized service facility for examination,
repair or adjustment.
6. Do not use outdoors.
7. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surf a c e s .
8. Check feeder chute for presence of foreign objects before using.
9. Put this list in a safe place, do not discard .

HOW TO USE YOUR WARING COMMERCIAL ICE CRUSHER
1. Place the 2.36 Liters white bowl packed with the unit under the bottom opening of
ice cru s h e r. Plug the unit in and set the ON/OFF power switch to the ON position.
2. To begin crushing ice, drop cubes into feeder chute opening on top of unit. Blades
of crusher unit are self feeding. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PUSH CUBES INTO BLADES
WITH HAND OR IMPLEMENT.
3. If a large cube should become lodged in the crushing unit so that blades cannot
reach it, set power switch to the OFF position, and unplug unit from outlet. Then
pour warm water down through feeder chute until lodged cube is melted or falls
f ree. Plug unit back into outlet, set the power switch to the ON position, and re s u m e
feeding cubes through feeder chute.
4. NOTICE: Your ice crusher is equipped with a feature that allows adjusting height of
the unit to dispense ice directly into any size container up to a maximum of 23 cm
high. This is especially beneficial for dispensing ice directly into a 621 ml or 1,419
ml ounce blender container. To adjust height see instru c t i o n s .
TO CONVERT TO HIGHER POSITION
1. Lay unit face down on a flat surface so that the four housing mounting screws
face upward .
2. Remove 4 scre w s .
3. Reposition support columns so that the upper 4 holes align with the 4 holes
in the housing.
