BEFORE FIRST USE

part is in good condition.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. This appliance complies with standards in force concerning this type

2. This appliance is designed to operate on the local electricity mains
supply.
3. If an extension lead is necessary use an earthed extension lead,
taking all precautions necessary so that nobody is tangled up in it.
4. Use a stable and dry work surface. Do not put on a hot surface.
5. Do not leave the power cord touching a hot surface.
6. CAUTION: Never immerse in water or any type of liquid.
7. Do not operate the appliance while empty.
8. Follow the instructions for use, otherwise the machine could slip
suddenly and there is a risk of injury.
9. WARNING: Do not moisten or lubricate the whetstone, as this may
make it unusable.
10. Always take care when operating the appliance.
11. Do not remove the sharpener selector when the appliance is working.
