The unit has been factory-programmed to inject a pH- product (light A on). If you wish to modify this
programme and inject pH+:
— switch off the unit
— press key A/B
— switch the unit on keeping key A/B depressed
— wait for about 5 seconds until light B come on
— release key A/B.
The unit is now programmed to inject pH+ reagent.
Ensure that the reading displayed is equal to the real value of pH in the water.
If the value is not equal, proceed as follows:
Press + or -. After a few moments, the displayed value will rise or drop. Release when the display indicates
the value of the pH in the water read off manually. The probe is now calibrated.
Since pH probe calibration may alter with time, we recommend that this procedure be repeated.
DISPLAY AND MODIFICATION OF THE SET POINT
Warning: the set point is factory-set at 7.4 but it is possible to change it to meet your requirements or
after consulting the Taylor Balance.
Press the C key for the set point to appear. Keeping C depressed, now press on + or – to change.
Programming steps: 0.05 pH.
Pumps are pre-set for an injection period of 120 minutes per filtration cycle. To change the operating
time: switch off the unit and press keys + and – at the same time. Switch the unit on again, keeping the
two keys depressed until 120 appears. Select the time by pressing once more on + or – so as to obtain
the required time. Validate by pressing C.
BACK-WASH THE FILTER AND ADDING PRODUCTS
It is important to switch the unit off when handling the filter (draining, back-wash, rinsing...). The same
goes when adding products manually (TAC, pH+, pH-, stabilizer...)
