DIP switch reset (Fig. 1)
After changing a DIP switch position, a DIP switch reset
must be made by pressing the reset button. Otherwise,
the previous setting will remain active!
4. Replacing the unit on its base
Proceed as shown in Figs. D and E.
5. Functional check
a) Check the display. If there is no display, check the
correct fitting and function of the batteries
b) If symbol
(controlled device ON) appears on the
display, the first signal has already been sent to the
receiver and communication has been opened. Make
the settings as explained in the Operating Instructions
c) If symbol
(controlled device ON) does not appear on
the display, it must first be activated for signal
transmission
d) Open the front cover. Move operating mode selector to

Mounting and commissioning the receiver REV-R.01/1
1. Mounting the unit
Proceed as shown in Figs. H through N.
The receiver should preferably be mounted near the
consumer
The unit should be located such that it can receive
signals with as little disturbance as possible. For this
reason, the following points should be observed with
both the controller / transmitter and receiver:
Refer to "Siting the controller / transmitter REV22RF"
Ensure the mounting location is dry and protected from
splash water
The unit can be fitted on most commercially available
recessed conduit boxes or is mounted directly on the
wall
2. Check the wiring
The receiver must be wired up with mains voltage
turned off!
Mains voltage may be switched on again only when the
unit is completely mounted.
For connection terminals, refer to "Connection diagram".

e) Move setting slider AUTO-RUN to
f) In the case of heating mode, set the setpoint
temperature to 29 °C with button
g) In the case of cooling mode, set the setpoint
temperature to 3 °C with button
h) Heating / cooling ON symbol
after a maximum of one minute
i) The first signal transmission to the receiver is thus
terminated
j) After 10 seconds, the transmitter sends another signal
k) The ON or OFF signal is then repeated every 20
minutes. This interval was selected to prolong battery
life
l) Reset the setpoint according to e) and f)
m) Reset the operating mode selector to the required
position
n) Set the setting slider to AUTO / RUN
The receiver's readiness to learn lasts a maximum of 25
minutes. If no signal is received from the transmitter during
that period of time, repeat steps d) through n) above.
6. Notes
If the reference room is equipped with thermostatic
radiator valves, they must be set to their fully open
position
If the temperature displayed does not agree with the
room temperature effectively measured, the room
temperature sensor should be recalibrated (refer to the
Operating Instructions)
The local regulations and standards for electrical
installations must be complied with
The unit comes with all DIP switches set to OFF
(bottom position)
Corrected DIP switch settings must be activated by making
a DIP switch reset.
3. Commissioning the receiver
It is recommended to first commission the receiver and
then the controller / transmitter.
a) Switch on power
b) Press the Reset button (erase) for about 4 seconds.
The green LED flashes briefly (detection of the stored
address)
c)
Press the Set button (set / learn) for about 3 seconds
until the LED lights up
d) The receiver's readiness to learn lasts a maximum of
25 minutes. If no signal is received from the transmitter
during that period of time, repeat steps b) and c) above
e) Mount the controller / transmitter and put it into
operation (refer to "Commissioning the controller /
transmitter)
f)
If the receiver receives a signal from the controller /
transmitter, the LED flashes briefly
g) If the LED is steady on, the relay is energized =
controlled device ON
h) If the LED is dark, the relay is de-energized =
controlled device OFF
i)
In the event of a power failure at the receiver, the relay
will be de-energized
