Before the fryer is used for the first time the basket and fat container should be
cleaned with soapy water.
Clean the deep fat basket and the forks in soapy water. The oil container should
be wiped out thoroughly with a damp cloth.
1. Fill the fat/oil used for deep fat frying to between the marks MIN. and MAX.
(approximately 0.45 litres = 450 grams of fat) and replace the lid.
2. Connect the device to a safety socket 230 volts, 50 hertz, and set the required
temperature (see deep fat frying table). The control lamp in the temperature
regulator lights up. The fat is heated when the control lamp goes out.

3. Hook the handle into the deep frying basket by pressing the handle together,
placing it in the hollow and letting it go. Make sure that the basket is firmly in
place.
4. Now place the food to be fried - not more than 0.4 kilograms - into the basket.
The food to be fried should be as dry as possible in order to avoid splashes. If
necessary, dry beforehand. Place the basket gently into the liquid fat.
5. Release the handle and put the lid in place.
6. When the deep frying time has elapsed, remove the lid (warning - hot steam!),
hook the handle in the basket again and remove the food that has been deep
fried. Remove the mains plug when the device is not in use.
The fat may be used several times and can be stored in the fryer.
