Disposing of the packaging
Sort the packaging before you dispose of it. Dispose of paperboard and
cardboard with the recycled paper service and wrappers with appropriate
collection service.
Disposing of the handheld vacuum cleaner
− Should the handheld vacuum cleaner no longer be capable of being used at
some point in time, dispose of it in accordance with the regulations in force
in your city or state.
− Please ensure your recycling information applies to the local regulations
and EPA recommendations (www.epa.gov).
Removing the rechargeable batteries
1. Disconnect the handheld vacuum cleaner from the power adapter
(see Fig. A).
2. Operate the handheld vacuum cleaner until it no longer works.
3. Take the collecting container
4. Use a cross-slotted screwdriver to remove the six screws on the motor unit.
5. Take the motor unit apart.
6. Disconnect the cable connection between the rechargeable batteries and
the motor unit.
7. Take the batteries out of the motor unit and dispose of all parts in
accordance with guidelines (see section "Disposing of the handheld
vacuum cleaner").
