Basic information

It is essential that you read the original operating instructions completely and observe all notes and information carefully
before using the unit for the first time.
The operating instructions must be kept available to the user until the use of the product is terminated.
All information refers to products in good-as-new condition. If you remove or change safeguards or make structural
changes, any liability of the manufacturer is excluded.
These operating instructions correspond to the state of delivery of the product. ProLux Systemtechnik GmbH & Co KG does
not accept any liability for incorrect information and product damage due to improper use.

Intended use

The Alu Racing Jack can only be used as a lifting device for motor vehicles up to 2000 kg (430 965) or 3000 kg (430 755)
total weight and on level, solid ground.
Not permitted
- Never exceed the maximum load capacity of the Alu Racing Jack.
- The jack has no brakes and must therefore not be used on uneven surfaces or on slopes.
- Do not switch on the engine when the vehicle is raised. Vibration can make the load uncontrollable and cause
it to slip off the jack's support plate.
- Never stand under a load that is only lifted with the jack. Work under the vehicle may only be started when
the load is additionally secured by suitable support stands.
- The setting of the safety valve must not be changed.
- No persons may lean against a raised vehicle.
- The vehicle may only be lifted at the jacking points approved by the manufacturer. Information on this can be
found in the operating manual of the vehicle manufacturer.
Failure to observe the safety instructions may cause the load to slip or fall and cause serious injury and/or
damage to objects.
Organisational measures and safety
- Operation may only be carried out by qualified persons.
- The vehicle weight must always be determined before use. The permissible load capacity of the manoeuvring
jack Alu Racing Jack must never be exceeded.
- Once a vehicle is lifted with the Alu Racing jack, it can suddenly roll away or move, posing a considerable
health risk. For this reason, persons must not be present in the danger area.
- Observe the statutory accident prevention regulations.
- All maintenance work (see the section Maintenance) must be carried out at the specified intervals.
- After maintenance work, all dismantled guards must be properly reattached. The safeguards and their
protective effect must be checked by an expert before initial operation of the device.
- Only use the jack on firm and level ground.
- Never work under a raised vehicle without taking further safety precautions. It must not be possible for the
vehicle to roll away, slip or tip over. Raised vehicles must always be secured against rolling away with wedges.
- Carry out a function test before each use. Particular care must be taken to ensure that the hydraulic oil does
not leak, that all screws and valves are tight and that the oil level is correct.
- Only place the jack where it is intended to be used and where it can take sufficient load. (see operating
instructions of the vehicle manufacturer).
- For all work under the vehicle, it must be supported by suitable support stands.
- Never lean against a raised vehicle.
- The jack may only be used on level, firm and load-bearing ground.
- While lifting and lowering, the jack must be positioned at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
- Raised vehicles must be secured against rolling away.
- When the intended lifting height is reached, the load must be secured by means of support stands.
