The advantage of the log turner is that you can take a new grip without the log rolling back. You have
the log in a firm grip through the whole process.
LOG TURNER
Risk of being chrushed by the log.
Never roll logs upwards a slope. The log can roll towards you if you lose the grip.
Be aware that the log can roll away from you. If so, the Log Turner will lose its grip.

USING THE LOG TURNER
Place the Log Turner with its hooks down against the log. Press the Log Turner forward against the log until
both hooks open up and take a hold of the log.
Stand with your back straight.
1. Jiggle one of the handles until you can pull it straight towards you.
2. Bend your knees and let the handle fall down to its lowest position.
3. Lift the lowest handle, standing with your back straight, and rotate the log. Do not lift higher than when
you stand with your back straight and with your arms straight down.
4. Keep the log in position with the first handle, and repeat the steps using the other handle.
MAINTENANCE
Clean and lubricate the springs and the surfaces where the handles of the Log Turner slide against each other.
Also clean and lubricate the bolt assembly holding the hooks. Sharpen the hooks with a flat file. Only sharpen
the front side of the hooks. Make sure that the CE sticker is legible.
