6 - Description of the operation
1- It is up to the operator to fit these
procedures to his reality;
2- Be aware of all the safety measures before
operating the machine for the first time. Check
the chapter 2 of this manual.
1- Before starting the engine, check all the harvest
conditions, machine preparation and initial adjustments
- Check its operational manual. Also check all the
preparation of the machine, as shown in chapter 4.
2- It is recommended to carry out a preventive test
before moving to the field, in the following way:
a) Put the harvester at 15 cm from the ground.
b) Start PTO and check the harvester running for one
minute.
3- On a leveled ground, put the machine in work
position.
4- Keep the discharge tube and stream breaker correctly
guided to the wagon.
Guidance must be done in a such way that the
wagon loading occurs from the rear to the
front. Besides turning the procedure easier, it
helps in compacting the load.
5- Start the harvest, aligning the harvester tip in the line
to be harvested, with PTO rotation and moving speed
adjusted.
Do not overload the machine nor the
tractor. Reduce the harvest speed
whenever there is need.
6- During operation, the tractor driver should
concentrate his attention on the front wheels of the
tractor. This will allow to avoid occasional obstacles
such as stubs, stones or channels.
7- Movements: always observe carefully the proximity of
the cart or the trailer wagon.
8- Before turning PTO off, always leave the engine
running for a while, allowing total removal of the waste
from the inside of the trituration system.
9- Always keep the harvester in a dry place and
protected from bad weather after every work day.
