USING THE SCRAPER
The B20 long scraper was designed for ground
work with maximum efficiency and minimum
fatigue for the operator.
A wide range of chisels and scrapers of all widths
are provided to help the operator choose the right
tool for the job.
Maintain contact with the surface to be scraped by
applying sufficient pressure to prevent the tool
from jumping. The surface will thus be scraped
more quickly.
Do not keep a tool running at free speed as
this will lead to premature wear of the moving
parts.
CONVERSION TO A NEEDLE HAMMER
(See figure No. 2)
Remove the screw (12) from the tool retainer (3)
and unscrew the tool retainer. Slide the spring (39),
needle holder (35) with its set of needles and anvil
(34) into the intermediate tube (38).
Position the straight front tube (36 or 37) on the
intermediate tube (38). Screw on the tube
assembly on the body cylinder (1) and lock the
assembly in position with the screw. Remove the
screw from the straight front tube (36 or 37) and
position it so that the needles protrude by
approximately 25 mm. Tighten the screw.

POINTED TIP NEEDLES: With their pointed
pyramid head, these needles are particularly
effective for removing hard scale from materials
where slight surface irregularity is acceptable or
desirable (for bonding primer or paint, for example).
CHISEL TIP NEEDLES: These needles are used
to treat the same surfaces as the pointed tip
needles, but only leave a slight mark on the
surface.
FLAT TIP NEEDLES: The flat ends on these
needles will not mark metal surfaces - they may
even have a polishing effect. They can be used on
all fine metals and surfaces where light treatment is
necessary, such as brick or stone.
SPARKPROOF NEEDLES: Spark-proof beryllium
copper needles are also available on request.
Full sets of needles of the same length must
