Operation
General
The appliance is only intended for domestic use, not
for professional use.

Using for the first time
1. Take the appliance and the accessories out of
the packaging and remove all the packaging
materials.
2. Clean the appliance before using it for the first
time (see 'Cleaning and maintenance').
Use of the appliance
1. Place the appliance on a stable and flat surface where it cannot fall
over.
2. Put the plug in the wall socket. If you are no longer using the appliance,
remove the plug from the wall socket.
3. Clean the appliance after use according to the instructions in 'Cleaning
and maintenance'.
4. Store the appliance.
Opening a can
1. Place the can opener handle in the appliance by pushing the shaft of
the handle into the hole with two grooves until the handle turns slightly
clockwise and engages.
2. Clean the top of the can to be opened.
3. Position the can vertically under the handle against the appliance with
the edge of the can on the drive wheel.
4. Switch the appliance on by pushing the handle downwards.
5. Hold the handle until the can has made a full turn and the top of the can has come free. The top is
held by the handle magnet.
6. Carefully allow the handle to raise and grasp the can immediately with your other hand.
7. Place the can out of the way on a level surface.
8. Remove the top of the can immediately from the magnet to prevent injury. Be careful of the sharp
edges!
Note
The appliance is suitable for cans with a diameter up
to a max. 125mm.
Sharpening knives and scissors
1. Remove the cover of the accessories storage
compartment and remove the knife and scissor
sharpener.
2. Carefully press the stripes on the underside of the cover
plate so that it comes free.
3. Remove the cover plate and let it hang downwards.
