4. Position the knife and scissor sharpener with the shaft in the grooves of the hole and turn the
sharpener a quarter turn clockwise until it clicks into position.
5. The sharpener has two grooves, one for the left side and one for the right cutting side of the knife
or scissors. Position a knife or a pair of scissors with the cutting edge downwards in a groove in the
knife and scissor sharpener.
6. Press the can opener handle inwards to operate the appliance.
7. Move the knife or scissors slowly with the whole cutting edge through the groove.
8. Release the handle again to stop the appliance.
9. Remove any remaining metal shavings from the knife or scissors with a cloth.
Note
Test the sharpness of the knife or scissor with a vegetable or a piece of fruit or something
similar, but not with your hands.
Opening bottles
1. Use the bottle opener to open bottles with a cap. Tilt the bottle against the bottle opener with the
cap against the raised edge of the opener.
2. Place your other hand on top of the appliance to keep it balanced.
3. Remove the cap by tilting the bottle slightly upwards.
Cleaning and maintenance
1. Ensure the plug has been removed from the wall socket.
2. Remove the handle from the can opener. To do this, turn the handle anti-clockwise as far as
possible and pull it carefully out of the appliance.
3. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth and then dry it.
4. Clean the can opener handle with a brush and soapy water.

The appliance and its parts are not dishwasher-proof.

Warranty terms
The importer guarantees the appliance against defects caused by manufacturing and/or material faults
for 60 months from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions.
1. No charges will be made for labour costs or materials during the warranty period. Any repairs
carried out during the warranty period do not extend the warranty period.
2. The importer automatically becomes the owner of any faulty parts that he replaces or a faulty
appliance (in the event of replacement of the appliance).
3. All claims submitted under warranty must be accompanied by the original bill of sale.
4. Claims under warranty must be submitted to the dealer where the appliance was purchased or to
the importer.
5. The warranty is issued solely to the first purchaser and cannot be transferred.
6. The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
a. Accidents, incorrect use, wear and/or neglect.
b. Faulty installation and/or use in a manner contravening the prevailing legal, technical or safety
regulations.
c. Connection to a mains voltage other than the voltage specified on the type plate.
