Important notice
If you can't remember your unlock pattern,
PIN or password:
If you have tried to log on to your Google
account on the phone and failed to enter
the correct pattern five times, tap the Forgot
pattern key. You will then be required to sign in
with your Google account to unlock your phone.
If you haven't created a Google account on the
phone or cannot remember it, you will have to
carry out a factory reset.

5. Connecting to Wi-Fi networks

To use Wi-Fi on your phone you need to access
a wireless access point or "hotspot. " Some access

points are open, and you can simply connect to
them. Others are hidden or have other security
features, so you must configure your phone to
connect to them.
Turn off Wi-Fi when you're not using it to extend
the life of your battery.
To turn Wi-Fi on and connect to a Wi-Fi
network:
On the home screen, touch the Applications

tab and select Settings, Wireless & networks
and Wi-Fi settings.
Touch Wi-Fi to turn it on and start scanning

for available Wi-Fi networks.
A list of available Wi-Fi networks is displayed.
