Using the appliance
•
If steam accumulates inside or around the outside of the door, wipe the door
with a soft cloth. This may occur when the appliance is operated under high
humidity condition and is normal.
•
When the appliance is first used, it may produce some smoke and odour.
This is a normal phenomenon, because the appliance is made of a steel plate
coated with lubricating oil. The new appliance produces fumes and odour
generated by burning the lubricating oil. This phenomenon will disappear
after a period of use.

Important cooking techniques
When preparing food, take the following into account:
•
Arrange food carefully. Place the thickest parts of your food towards the
outside of the dish.
•
Always cook for the shortest amount of time indicated and add more time as
needed. Overcooked food can smoke or ignite.
•
Always cover food while cooking. Covers prevent splattering and help food to
cook evenly.
•
Always turn food over once during cooking. This helps to speed up the
cooking of food, such as chicken, hamburgers and large items like roasts.
•
Rearrange foods such as meatballs halfway through cooking both from top to
bottom and from the centre of the dish to the outside.

the manufacturer of the food to be prepared indicated that the metallic
containers is suitable for microwave cooking.
