MAINTENANCE
TBML 80 MC
Analyse combustion gases and check that the emission values are
correct at least once a year, in compliance with current law.
•
Check the fuel filter: if it is dirty, replace it.
•
Check that all the components of the combustion head are in a good
state, not deformed by the temperature and free from impurities or
deposits from the installation environment or by poor combustion
and check also the electrodes are working efficiently.
•
If the combustion head needs to be cleaned, remove the components
following the procedure indicated below:
- Remove the holding nut and unhook the gas throttle control
lever (1).
- Disconnect the diesel oil hoses (2) from the connectors beneath
the Head Unit (be careful of drips).
- Unscrew the two screws (No.3) and turn the burner around the
pin 4 in the hinge.
- After pulling the ignition cables (5) out of their electrodes, un-
screw the locking nuts (6) from the mixing unit. Loosen nut (7)
and completely unscrew the fastening screw on the delivery
connection (8). With the same wrench turn the ball joint (9) in the
direction indicated by the arrow, unhooking the lever that moves
the combustion head forward.
- Slightly lower the gas delivery connection (10) and remove the
entire mixing unit in the direction indicated by the arrow in figure 4.
- Complete the maintenance work: reassemble the combustion
head, following the operations described above in reverse order,
after having checked the correct position of ignition electrodes
(see 0002936380).
When closing the burner, gently pull the two ignition cables
towards the electrical panel, putting them slightly in tension,
then arrange them in their housing on the scroll. This will ensure
that the two cables do not get damaged by the fan during burner
operation.
