DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES

If the appliance is to be disposed of, the battery unit must be removed from the
appliance and disposed of separately according to the prescriptions for the protection
of the environment.
Tips on battery disposal
Open the brush base (1) by loosening the two screws on the underside of the sweeper.
Otherwise, never open the casing except to dispose of the batteries.
• Put the lid of the casing and the two screws to the side.
• Carefully release the battery from the jack before removing the battery unit.
• The rechargeable sweeper contains batteries (Ni-Cd) that must not be thrown
into the domestic waste.
