1. Operating instructions
1.1 Importance of the assembly and operating instructions
Knowledge of the fundamental safety notes and safety requirements is a prerequisite for the safe handling
and failure-free operation of the table frame. These assembly and operating instructions include the most
important notes in order to safely assemble and operate the table frame. These assembly and operating
instructions, particularly the safety notes, must be observed by all who construct the frame and work at
the finished table. The rules and regulations for accident prevention at the location of use must also be
observed.
1.2 Correct use
This frame is exclusively for use as an electrically height-adjustable
sitting or standing workplace in enclosed spaces. Thus the frame is also determined for this purpose only.
Any different or supplementary use is considered incorrect.
Children are unable to assess the risks associated with the table frame if they are around the table without
supervision.
The table base may be used by children from 8 years of age and by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and knowledge if they are
supervised or if they have received instruction on safe use of the table base and understand
the consequential risks.
Children are not permitted to play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be
carried out by children without supervision.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damage resulting from this.
Correct use also includes
• observance of all notes in the assembly and operating instructions and
• prohibition of any conversions to the table
1.3 Incorrect use
• Never use the table frame to lift persons or loads!
• Only place weights on the table frame up to the maximum load (see Chapter 6 'Technical
