Press the flash button. The device first
determines the tone of your skin. If the tone of
the skin is light enough for safe treatment, the
device emits a flash of light and produces a soft
popping sound at the same time. This popping
sound is normal for this device. You may also
feel a mild warm and tingling sensation.
If you see no flash and the yellow READY light blinks
rapidly, the skin tone warning light warns you that
your skin tone is too dark for safe treatment.
Try using the device on a different body part.

After emitting a flash, Philips Lumea Comfort
recharges immediately for the next flash.
Recharging takes a few seconds, depending
on the intensity level set. When recharging is
finished, the READY light turns on again.
7
Move the skin contact surface to another area
of skin. When there is full skin contact, the
READY light starts blinking slowly again.
Be careful not to treat the same area of skin more
than once per treatment session! Treating the same
area of skin more than once per session increases
the likelihood of adverse effects.

Repeat the process, starting at step 5.
