Problem
4) Erratic behavior;

Cause
4a) CO in

high or changing
quickly.
5a) Pump failure.
6a) Battery is
connected in reverse
or is not connected.
6b) Battery failure.

Remedy
4a) Take steps to reduce
concentration or to limit
changes in background
(e.g., operator wearing a
mask).
5a) Verify battery is charged
and properly connected. If
pump still cannot be heard
running with D-TEK CO
and warmed up, contact
INFICON.
6a) Remove battery door
and carefully disconnect and
reconnect the battery
connector.
6b) Install a new battery.
