The purpose of the packaging is to protect
the product during transport. It consists of
the following substances which can be
reused:
- polyethene foil
- untreated wood
Do not dispose of the packaging material in
the industrial waste, but ask your municipal
sanitation department where to dispose of
the material.
Product
Products which you would like to dispose of may still
contain valuable substances and materials. Do not
dispose of the product in the industrial waste, but ask
your municipal sanitation department about the
possibilities for reuse or environmentally safe
processing of the material.
Filters
Saturated filters contain welding fumes and particles.
Do not dispose of filters in the industrial waste, but
observe the local regulations with respect to the
environmentally safe removal or processing of such
materials.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
6.1
General description
The product has been specially designed for centralised
filtering of harmful fumes and gases which are released
during the most common welding processes. For this
purpose the SCS is often integrated in configurations
which contain several extraction arms and fans and an
air duct system.
As an option a separate pre-separator is available
which is always recommended for safety reasons.
Thanks to the advanced design it is not only possible
to link several SCS systems, but it is also possible to
select the most optimal air inlet and outlet construction
for the specific applicaton.
If you want to connect several SCS systems,

The SCS has been designed for the following
applications:

MIG/MAG solid wire (GMAW)
•
MIG/MAG flux cored wire (FCAW)
•
stick welding (MMA or SMAW)
•
TIG (GTAW) welding
•
autogeneous/plasma cutting
Never use the SCS for the following applications:
•
arc-air gouging
•
oil mist
•
paint mist
•
heavy oil mist in welding fumes
•
hot gases (more than 40°C/100°F continuously)
•
aggressive gases (e.g. from acids)
•
grinding aluminium and magnesium
