The fluidised bath obtains its power and control through the TC-9D
controller. The Fludised bath has therefore to be connected through
the TC-9D to the mains or line supply.
If the fluidised bath has had a plug connected to the lead this needs
to be removed. Also remove the Twist lock plug from the rear of the
TC-9D. Connect the mains lead from the fluidised bath to this plug.
The connections to the plug are as follows:

Plug the twist lock plug back into the socket on the TC-9D.
2
Plug the thermocouple into the back of the TC-9D.
3
Remove the packing bar from the thermostat sheath on the fluidised
bath, see the booklet for the bath. It is held in with a nut and olive,
a new olive is supplied with the TC-9D. Fit the new olive, as
appropriate, to the thermocouple and push the thermocouple fully
into the thermostat sheath. Tighten the nut so that the olive holds the
thermocouple firmly but do not over tighten.
Connect a clean dry air supply regulated to 30 PSI via 3/8"OD

or 9.5mm OD tubing. This tubing should be plugged into the
quick disconnect fitting on back of the TC9D labeled "air supply".
Connect 3/8" or 9.5mm OD tubing between the Fluidized bath
and the quick disconnect fitting on back labeled "Fluidized bath".

Before connecting the mains supply check the voltage with that
marked on the rating plate. Connect the mains cable on the TC-9D
to a suitable supply as follows:
