If the procedure fails, it may mean that the receiver memory is
full and impedes synchronisation of new devices. In this case
only the installer will be able to synchronise any new remote
controls.
SYNCHRONISING CRAWFORD/NORMSTHAL ROLLING
CODE REMOTE CONTROLS
CRAWFORD/NORMSTHAL remote controls can only be synchroni-
sed directly on the receiver by taking the following steps.
Synchronisation procedure using the receiver
1. Press the SET button:
Once for impulse response (the receiver is active while the button
is being held)
Twice for flip-flop response (the receiver is active until the next
time it is pressed)
Three times for ON
Four times for OFF
2. Press the button of the device to be synchronised
3. The LED will flash, indicating that the code has been stored.
SYNCHRONISING DEA ROLLING CODE REMOTE CON-
TROLS
DEA receivers can work in fixed or rolling code mode. These
modes can be selected by placing a jumper in certain positions.
The jumper is located in the centre of the circuit board and the
positions are marked A (fixed position) and B (rolling code mode).
In rolling code mode, DEA remote controls can be synchronised
either remotely or directly on the receiver.
Remote synchronising procedure
1. Stand near the receiver and simultaneously press the two but-
tons of the device already synchronised in the facility.
The LED on the receiver will light up steady, indicating that it has
switched to synchronisation mode.
2. Within 5 seconds, press the button of the device to be synchro-
nised.
The receiver LED will flash and then turn off, indicating that device
has been successfully synchronised.
Direct synchronisation procedure on the receiver
1. Open the receiver and press and release the P1 pushbutton loca-
ted to the right of the circuit board, below a LED.
The LED will light up, indicating that the receiver has entered sy-
nchronisation mode.
Be sure to release the P1 button as soon as the LED lights up. If
the button is held down until the LED turns off, it will delete the
contents of the receiver's memory.
2. Press the left button of the device to be synchronised.
The receiver LED will flash once, indicating that device has been
successfully synchronised.
3. Synchronisation has been successfully performed. Repeat step
2 for each additional remote control you wish to synchronise.
Otherwise, wait until the LED turns off after storing the code and
the receiver exits synchronisation mode.
Observations
If the procedure fails, it may mean that the receiver memory is
full and impedes synchronisation of new devices. In this case only
the installer will be able to synchronise any new remote controls.

SYNCHRONISING DITEC ROLLING CODE REMOTE CON-
TROLS
Remote synchronisation procedure for the DITEC remote control
1. Stand near the receiver and use a pointed object to press the
button located below the central orifice of the Ditec remote control
already synchronised in the facility for 5 seconds.
The LED on the master remote control will begin to flash after 5
seconds, indicating that it is ordering the receiver to enter syn-
chronisation mode.
2. Press the synch button of the duplicated device.
The code of the new device is sent to the receiver and stored.
3. Wait for 10 seconds for the receiver to exit synchronisation
mode.
Direct synchronisation procedure for the DITEC remote control
1. Open the receiver and press the small button marked PROG for
2 seconds.
The receiver LED will light up.
2. Press the synch button of the duplicated device.
The receiver LED will flash once and return to steady.
4. Wait for 10 seconds for the receiver to exit synchronisation
mode.
Observations
If the procedure fails, it may mean that the receiver memory is full
and impedes synchronisation of new devices without the insta-
ller's permission.
SYNCHRONISING DOORMATIC ROLLING CODE REMOTE
CONTROLS
In rolling code mode, DOORMATIC receivers can be synchronised
either remotely or directly on the receiver.
Remote synchronising procedure
1. Stand near the receiver and press and release the button on the
front of the remote control already synchronised in the facility. This
button is located under the coloured casing.
The receiver will emit a beep, indicating that it has switched to
synchronisation mode.
2. Within 5 seconds, press the button of the device to be synchro-
nised.
The receiver will emit two beeps, indicating that the code has
been stored.
Wait for 30 seconds until the receiver emits two beeps, indicating
that it has exited the synchronisation mode.
Direct synchronisation procedure on the receiver
1. Open the receiver and locate a pushbutton between two LEDS
on a circuit board.
The red LED lights up briefly and turns off. Then the green LED
lights up. This indicates that the receiver is in synchronisation
mode.
2. Press the button of the desired channel on the remote control
to be synchronised.
The receiver will store the code.
Wait for 30 seconds until the receiver emits two beeps, indicating
that it has exited the synchronisation mode.
ATTENTION
If the procedure fails, it may mean that the receiver memory is
full and impedes synchronisation of new devices. In this case only
the installer will be able to synchronise any new remote controls.
