SYNCHRONISING ECOSTAR ROLLING CODE REMOTE
CONTROLS
ECOSTAR remote controls can only be synchronised directly on the
receiver.
Direct synchronisation procedure on the receiver
1. Press the button marked P on the PLC or receiver casing. The
red LED will begin to flash, indicating that the receiver is in syn-
chronisation mode.
2. Press and hold the button on the remote control until the LED
changes to quick flash. Release the button.
3. Press the button on the remote control again and hold until the
LED emits very quick flashes. Release the button.
4. The end of the very quick flash phase indicates that the remote
control code has been stored.
SYNCHRONISING ERREKA ROLLING CODE REMOTE CON-
TROLS
Erreka remote control receivers enable remote synchronisation wi-
thout handling the receiver or using the button on its circuit board.
ROLLER REMOTE CONTROLS
Remote synchronising procedure
1. Stand near the receiver, open the battery cover on the remote
control already synchronised in the facility and press the button
next to the battery or the synch button.
Release as soon as the LED on the receiver lights up
2. Press the button of the device to be synchronised.
The receiver will emit a beep to indicate that the remote control
has been synchronised.
If the receiver fails to emit a beep it means that the procedure has
failed, probably for the following reasons:
•
The memory is full. The installer may have filled it on purpo-
se. In this case, no devices can be synchronised without con-
tacting the installer.
3. Wait for 30 seconds until the LED turns off, indicating that
the receiver has exited synchronisation mode.
Direct synchronisation procedure on the receiver
1. Open the receiver and set the switch to the ON position.
The LED on the receiver will light up. From this point, follow the
previous procedure from step 2 above.
SOL REMOTE CONTROLS
Both synchronisation procedures are identical to those for the
ROLLER remote controls. The only difference is that a jumper
must connect the first and fifth pins in the original remote con-
trol activate synchronisation mode in the receiver, and remove
the jumper once this has been done.
This will not be necessary if synchronisation mode is activated
from a synchronised remote control since the device is provided
with a button for this purpose at the rear.
SYNCHRONISING FAAC ROLLING CODE REMOTE CON-
TROLS
FAAC remote controls can be synchronised using a master re-
mote control with its own code. In this case it is not necessary
to work directly or remotely with the receiver.
Follow these steps to synchronise a slave remote control from
a master device. This procedure is valid for the TML and 868
SLH series.
TML series
Warning: if you press the slave remote control first and then
the master device you will delete the master codes.
1. Press the button of the already synchronised remote control
and hold down.
2. Still holding down the master device button, press the same
button on the slave with the two devices close to each other.
The LED on the slave will flash.
3. Repeat the operation for the remaining buttons.
SERIE 868SLH
Warning: if you press the slave remote control first and then
the master device you will delete the master codes.
1. Press the two buttons on the master device until the LED
starts flashing and release after one second (on devices with
four buttons, press the top right and lower left buttons).
2. Before the master device LED stops flashing, press the top
right button on the master device again with the remote con-
trols close to each other. The master LED will change to steady.
3. Still holding down the master device button, press the same
button on the slave.
The slave device LED will flash once to confirm that the code
has been stored.
4. Release both buttons.
SYNCHRONISING FADINI ROLLING CODE REMOTE CON-
TROLS
FADINI remote controls can be synchronised either directly on
the receiver or remotely using a remote control already syn-
chronised with the receiver.
Remote synchronisation procedure
1. Press buttons 1 and 2 simultaneously on the new remote
control and hold for 10 seconds.
2. Release, and before 15 seconds elapse press buttons 1 and
2 of the device already synchronised in the facility and hold for
at least 10 seconds.
3. Finally, press any button of the device to be synchronised.
Direct synchronisation procedure on the receiver
1. In the receiver, use a jumper to bypass C1.
2. Press button P in the receiver and button 1 on the remote
control to be synchronised for 5 seconds.
3. Release the buttons on both devices and remove the jumper.
4. Repeat the operation for all channels, bypassing the relevant
channel each time (C2, C3 and C4).
SYNCHRONISING GENIE ROLLING CODE REMOTE CON-
TROLS
Genie Intellicode remote control can only be synchronised di-
rectly on the receiver.
Direct synchronisation procedure on the receiver
1. Locate the programming code button and the programming
code indicator LED on the side of the receiver.
