• WIND PROTECTOR
This accessory allows improved helmet performance under certain conditions of use.
The Wind Protector reduces unpleasant infiltrations of air under the chin.
See Fig. 14 for the assembly and disassembly.
• REMOVABLE INNER COMFORT PADDING
1. LINER DISASSEMBLY WITH ROLL NECK
1.1 Open the chin strap (see specific instructions), remove the roll neck flap from the
cheek pad, pull the front part of the left cheek pad towards the inside of the helmet
to release the first snap fastener located on the left frame (Fig. 15). Repeat the same
operation on the right side of the helmet.
1.2 Release the left roll neck eyelet from the frame fixed to the outer shell (Fig. 16). Repeat
the same operation on the right side of the helmet.
1.3 Unhook the rear left fastening flap of the support attached to the edge of the inner
shell and pull the comfort padding lightly towards the inside, at the helmet neck-ring
area (Fig. 18). Then repeat the same steps to remove the central flaps as well as the
right rear flap.
1.4 Hold the left front part of the liner and pull it upwards in order to remove the liner flap
from the support fixed to the polystyrene inner shell (Fig. 18). Then repeat the same
steps for the central front and right flap.
1.5 Remove the right and left side flaps of the comfort padding (located between the inner
and outer shells) by pulling them towards the outside (Fig. 19).
1.6 Remove the chin straps from the liner (Fig. 20).
1.7 Completely remove the liner from the helmet.
2. LINER ASSEMBLY WITH ROLL NECK
2.1 Insert the liner correctly into the helmet and fit it well against the base.
2.2 Insert the chin straps into the slot of the left cheek pad in the liner (Fig. 20).
2.3 Insert the left front flap into the seat on the support fixed to the polystyrene inner shell
and push it slightly downwards until it is completely locked. Follow the same steps for
the central front and right flap (Fig. 18).
2.4 Insert the right and left side flaps of the comfort padding by pushing them between
the inner and outer shells (Fig. 19).
2.5 Insert the rear right, central and left flaps of the liner into the relevant support seats in
the edge of the shell in the helmet neck-ring area (Fig. 17). Push the flaps until they are
fully hooked onto the support.
2.6 Hook the roll neck eyelet to the frame fixed to the outer shell (Fig. 16) making sure that
the frame's central air intake is free.
NOTE: Check the correct assembly of the liner front area by lifting and lowering the
VPS. These movements should be smooth. If this is not the case, repeat the steps
1.4 and 2.3.
2.7 Push the padding of the cheek pad in line with the snap fastener on its back by
fastening it to its seat fixed to the shell. Hook the roll neck flap to the cheek pad (Fig. 15).
