1. First Steps

1.1. Language

If you would like to change the language, press and hold „MENU" on the radio and go to „System-
einstellungen > Sprache" to switch to your preferred language.

Please make sure that the following contents are included in the package:

1.3. Getting started

Connect the supplied cable antenna or an external DAB/FM antenna, as well as the power adaptor
to the back of the DR 890 CD and plug it into a power socket. Switch on the radio through the power
switch on the backside.
Get the network environment ready for wireless WiFi: Make sure you have setup the wireless net-
work and you have the WEP, WPA or WPA2 security password to activate the connection. You may
also use the WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) function for easy pairing between the network device and
DR 890 CD. Check if the light indicators on the network device are in appropriate status.
