REASSEMBLE FACEPIECE
Reassemble your facepiece after following all steps outlined in Section 8.0 "RESPIRATOR
INSPECTION": Use the replacement part schematic at the end of these User Instructions.
1)
Inspect all components as they are being assembled. Replace any that are damaged
or missing.
2)
Prior to attaching cartridge connector to facepiece, ensure o-ring, (Part Number 805003) is
placed in groove that is centered around cartridge connector port on lens. Place cartridge
connector into lens and turn clockwise until audible click is heard and connector is locked
into place.
3)
Put one set of inhalation valves on the cartridge connectors, making sure they lie flat
against the connectors.
4)
Install the gasket groove side up onto the connector (see figures 18 & 19). The gasket
must be seated below the connector threading.
5)
Verify the nozzle o-ring is free from debris and install the o-ring onto the nozzle.
6)
Apply lubricant (see parts list) or equivalent to the o-ring.
7)
From inside of the lens, align the top and bottom ribs on the front of the nozzle with
the notches in the lens. Push the nozzle inward until both latches engage with lens.
