not original SOLO spare parts or such parts authorised by SOLO, and/or repairs were carried out by others
than an approved customer service shop or authorised expert. The same conditions apply to
supplementary equipment and accessories.

Possible cause
- engine bolts or mower chassis fasteners loose
- blade out of balance or faulty
- friction clutch faulty
- has the brake bar been pulled/pressed
against the handle?
- is the throttle control correctly positioned?
- is the Bowden cable/engine brake
in the correct position?
- spark plug or spark plug cap faulty?
- fuel tank empty
- air filter contaminated
- throttle Bowden cable kinked
- spark plug sooty
- blade blunt
- cutting height too low
- engine speed too low
- engine speed to low
- cutting height too low
for tall grass
- blade worn
- grass catcher bag clogged up
Remedy
- retighten screws/bolts
- check blade fasteners
- balance or replace cutting blade
- possibly replace friction washers
(in pairs)
- press/pull the brake bar
- select correct adjustment
- check for correct adjustment
- clean or replace spark plug or cap
- refuel
- clean or replace air filter
- adjust or replace throttle Bowden cable
- clean spark plug
- check blade fasteners
- sharpen the cutting blade
- correct height adjustment
- move throttle control to max.
