Delicately hand-wash in lukewarm water (max. 30°C) and neutral soap.

Rinse with cold water and allow drying at room temperature, away from direct
sunlight.

Never machine-wash the inner comfort padding.

The inner polystyrene is an easily deformable material. It is apt to change or get
partially destroyed to help absorb shocks.

Clean it with a damp cloth and allow it to dry at room temperature away from
direct sunlight.

Do not modify or alter the helmet's internal polystyrene components in any way.
-
Never use tools or equipment of any sort to carry out the steps described above.
SIDE PLATES
•
(Available as a standard feature if the helmet is in the version without visor and/
or peak).
1. SIDE PLATES ASSEMBLY
1.1 Disassemble the visor from the helmet by following the specific instructions in this
manual.
1.2 Place the left plate, identified with the letter "L" on the inside, on the left side
mechanism of the helmet by centring the side air intake of the plate on the mechanism
itself (Fig. 24).
1.3 Slide the plate completely downwards (Fig. 25).
1.4 Repeat the same steps on the other side of the helmet using the right plate marked
with letter "R" on the inside.
2. SIDE PLATES DISASSEMBLY
2.1 Slide the plate upwards (Fig. 25) and remove it from the side mechanism.
2.2 Follow the same steps on the other side of the helmet.
WARNING!!!

When using the helmet without the visor and/or without the peak, always
assemble the side plates.

Do not use the helmet if the side plates have not been assembled properly.

Do not remove the side mechanisms from the shell.

Should any of the side mechanisms be malfunctioning or damaged, please refer
to a Nolan authorized dealer.
PEAK
•
(Available as a standard feature if the helmet is in the version without visor).
(If this accessory/spare part is purchased separately: this component is available
in two different sizes according to shell size (SMALL or LARGE). Please ask your
Nolan dealer to assist you in selecting the right size.

When riding on the road, the peak HAS to be adjusted to the highest position
(Fig. 28).
