Side effects and complications
Some patients may notice a change in pigmentation following a treatment with the
Homelight epilator. These effects, if they appear, are generally slight and temporary.
If you experience complications (see 'Possible side effects') contact your GP immediately.
11. Maintenance of your Homelight epilator
11.1. Cleaning your Homelight epilator
We recommend you clean your Homelight epilator after every session, particularly the application
surface.
Unplug your appliance before cleaning.
Gently clean the surface of the appliance and particularly the application surface with a clean, dry cloth and
a cleaning agent formulated for cleaning electronic equipment.
Never immerse your Homelight appliance or one of its parts in water.
11.2. Changing the replaceable flash lamp
The intensity of the pulses is determined by the selected power level. The energy will not weaken during
the life of a replaceable flash lamp. When it has reached 90% of its life, the replace flash lamp indicator light
on the control panel will flash indicating that the bulb should be replaced soon.
Once the 5000 pulses of the replaceable flash lamp have been used, the replace flash lamp indicator light
will light up indicating that no more pulses will be released. To continue your depilation, you will have to
replace the replaceable flash lamp.
1000-flash replacement cartridges are available commercially under the reference
code G911E.
Note: The flash lamp should also be replaced if large marks appear on the inside or
if the application surface is broken.
