WARNINGS AND SAFETY
Should the water be particularly hard, adding a softener will reduce
the required cleaning frequency of the heat exchanger, ensuring op-
timum performance of the appliance.
The installation of the boiler must be performed by professionally
quali ed persons in accordance with the regulations in force.
Boilers produced at our facilities are manufactured paying speci c
attention to individual components, so as to protect the user and
the installer from possible accidents. After working on the product,
quali ed personnel must check the electrical wiring, in particular the
stripped part of conductors, which must not stick out from the termi-
nal board, avoiding possible contact with live parts of such conductor.
This installer and user manual constitutes an integral part of the
product. make sure that they are always kept with the appliance,
even if it is transferred to another owner or user, or moved to another
heating system. In the event of loss or damage, please contact your
local Technical Assistance Centre for a new copy.
Any work or maintenance on the appliance must be carried out by a
quali ed professional.
Boiler maintenance must be carried out at least once a year. This
should be booked in advance with the Technical Assistance Centre.
RIELLO MINI boilers must be equipped solely with original accesso-
ries.
The installer must instruct the user about the operation of the appli-
ance and about essential safety regulations.
This boiler must be used for the purposes for which it was speci cally
made. The manufacturer accepts no liability within or without the con-
tract for any damage caused to people, animals and property due to
installation, adjustment and maintenance errors or to improper use.
After removing the packaging, make sure the content is in good con-
dition and complete. Otherwise, contact the dealer from whom you
purchased the appliance.
Dispose of all the packaging materials in the suitable containers at
the corresponding collection centres.
When disposing of waste, be careful not to harm human health or
employ procedures or methods which may damage the environment.
At the end of its life, the product should be not be disposed of as solid
urban waste, but rather it should be handed over to a differentiated
waste collection centre.
During installation, inform the user that:
- in case of water leaks, the water supply should be turned off;
- promptly inform the Technical Assistance Centre.
If the boiler has not been used for a long time, it is recommended
that the Technical Assistance Service performs, at least, the following
operations:
- turning the main appliance switch and the general system switch
to off;
- shutting off the gas and water valves;
- draining the system if there is a risk of freezing.
Before cleaning, disconnect the boiler from the mains, icking the
system two-pole switch and the main control panel switch to OFF.

For safety reasons, please remember that:
The appliance is not to be used by children or unassisted people with
disabilities.
It is forbidden to activate electric devices or appliances such as
switches, household appliances and so on if you notice a smell of
fuel or unburnt fuel. In this case:
- Ventilate the room by opening the doors and windows;
- Close the fuel shut-off device;
- Request the prompt intervention of the Technical Assistance Ser-
vice or professionally quali ed personnel.
It is forbidden to touch the appliance while barefoot or if parts of your
body are wet.
Do not rest objects on the boiler.
Do not modify the safety or adjustment devices without the manufac-
turers authorisation and precise instructions.
It is prohibited to pull, detach or twist the electrical cables coming
from the appliance even if it is disconnected from the mains power
supply.
Do not cover or reduce the size of the ventilation openings in the
room where the boiler is installed. The ventilation openings are vital
for correct combustion.
Do not leave ammable containers and substances in the room
where the device is installed.
It is forbidden to disperse the packaging material in the environment
and leave it within children's reach as it may be a potential source of
danger. It must be disposed in accordance with the present law.
Do not use the appliance for purposes other than that speci ed.
Do not expose the boiler to weathering; it is not designed to operate
outside and does not have an automatic anti-freeze system. If there
is a risk of freezing, the boiler should be drained.
